India Smart GRID AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY DEFINITIONAL MISSION
India Smart Grid Project Development – India is investing billions of dollars to modernize its distribution utilities and bring smart grid technologies to the market. EMI was contracted by the US Trade and Development Agency to find strategic investments to support US technology suppliers in this market. Projects identified and evaluated for project funding included: demand response systems; renewables integration technologies; solar PV-hybrid fuel cell power supply for cell towers; and a smart grid technology test bed for the national government.
